Chris Harper
As a new product and business development manager Chris has been involved with strategic sales management for 10+ years, with a primary focus on understanding the needs and expectations of the customers balanced against the resources and capabilities of the client firm. Chris works with business leaders and sales and marketing professionals to understand the customer better so business leaders can determine strategic changes in; direction, products and services to meet the changing needs and wants of their customer(s). Chris has experience as a technical sales professional, sales manager, general manager, president, shareholder and business owner within both manufacturing and service related industries.
Chris has been involved with the storage, containment, handling and training of personnel working with controlled products within all levels of government, oil and gas (upstream and down stream sectors) and a number of different manufacturing sectors which use controlled products as part of their operations and processes.
Chris has also been involved with and is a published writer in the area of technical training and worked closely with several government agencies on the changes to regulations like; the National Fire Code of Canada, Federal Hazardous Waste Regulations and the environmental protection legislation. As a result Chris maintains an extensive list of contacts and relationships in all levels of government in several departments that allows him to understand and help clients with regulatory issues.
