Maintenance Essentials for Supervisors
1 Day
This instructor led, one-day seminar is designed to help maintenance managers and supervisors lead their teams. Learn to teach our ‘Ten Step Troubleshooting Process’™ (TSTP) to keep the team organized and downtime cycles as short as possible.
Develop strategies to achieve reliability and safety with respect to hydraulic and electrical systems. With the knowledge gained, maintenance managers can begin to lead their maintenance team with clearly stated objectives and performance goals.
The material covered demystifies the immutable laws of fluidic and electrical systems and the human consequences of incorrect actions around these systems. The essential matters of maintenance for maximum reliability and capital life are thoroughly reviewed.
In the course of the seminar participants will learn to;
- Periodically ask questions to establish whether or not work teams understand the hazards inherent to the systems they work with
- Critically analyze diagnostic routines and maintenance procedures for safety weaknesses
- Identify hazards related to all hydraulic and electrical systems
- List commonly required maintenance routines
- Teach and evaluate the tools and processes used in troubleshooting
Participants will analyze cases and simulations on their own and in groups. Participants will also design preventative maintenance routines and basic parameters for safe work around electrical and hydraulic systems.
